UB establishes Honors College

The University at Buffalo marked a major milestone when it formally announced the founding of the University Honors College at a ceremony on October 2. The renaming is just the latest step in UB’s long tradition of honors programming. In 1981, UB was the first school in the State University of New York system to launch an honors program, though the roots of the program can be traced as far back as 1923. Read more.

For a number of enterprising UB students, summer break was a time to do a whole lot more than lounge around the pool. Some ventured across the globe, some across town, but they all expanded their horizons by gaining real-world experience in their fields.
