Before I say anything more I am just going to warn everyone: I am literally posting while on the bus to Akron, Ohio with about 50 other people. Speaking of which, we have another long weekend ahead. This meet is a Friday, Saturday, Sunday invitational that seems to last eternity. I can’t ever figure out if it’s the fact that Akron, Ohio is a…well, lets say, boring city, or if it is because this is a stressful time of the school year to be traveling for a whole weekend.

On the bright side, the charter bus we are on has outlets AND wi-fi, which is what is allowing me to post. I should probably do some school work or study after I finish, but somehow I know my exhaustion will take over and I will put my headphones in and fall asleep. As I’ve mentioned before, I adore being a part of an athletic team here at UB. It is a privilege that I think many of us athletes take for granted-trust me, I know I do. My roommates and I joke about how we will cry tears of joy when we are done swimming forever. The past 12 years of swimming have definitely taken their toll on us, but I wouldn’t change a thing. If you are considering participating in a sport while here at UB: absolutely look into it. Talk to the coaches, meet the team, or come on a recruiting trip. I am so proud to be a bull!
