I know it is slightly belated, but Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone had a fabulous day and got to spend some quality time with family and friends.
I just got back to Buffalo a few hours ago and was so nicely greeted with a decent amount of snow. To be quite honest, I realllly don’t like snow. I mean, yeah, the first pure white snow is beautiful, but after that-enough already. I think my one major “beef” with snow is how dangerous it makes the roads. I don’t have a license and I don’t drive because it is a fear of mine, but when the roads are bad, I don’t even like being a passenger. However, I chose Buffalo knowing good and well that it does not have the greatest winter weather reputation. But I can assure you, if I can survive it, anyone can. It is not as bad as people make it out to be-you just need to be prepared.
All in all, minus the weather every now and then, this time of year is fantastic! It allows us to reflect on what we are thankful for on Thanksgiving, we are wrapping up first semester, and we can look forward to beginning a whole new year! I know I might be getting ahead of myself, but we only have a little over one month left of 2012!
