It’s been a while

Hey Guys!

Sorry its been so long since I’ve blogged. I had some unforunate events in the past few days so I have been busy helping out my family cope with things.

Other than that, things have been going really well. I got back my grades for this semester and am happy to report that I did really well on all of my finals.

My vacation so far has been really wonderful. Sitting around doing nothing is amazing. Although I am pretty bored, it is nice not to have to think about all the things I have to do.

Everything else is pretty quiet. I’ll keep you guys updated if anything changes. Also happy holidays everyone!!!

Getting ready

So I had an amazing weekend. I spent it with my friends. Saturday night was the Buffalo Chips Concert (the UB all male acapella group). It was fantastic. A group of my close friends and I went. Afterward they had an after party at their house. It was soooo fun! Sunday was a lazy day. I sat around at my friends house watching movies. I want to spend as much quality time with my friends as possible before I leave for winter break so I’ve been out and about seeing everyone. Friday night was the amazing win by the UB Bull for the MAC championship! They totally owned Ball State in the game, it was very exciting to watch it all on ESPN. Way to go guys!!!!

This week will be pretty quiet. My final I was supposed to have on Friday is now a take home final that is due on Friday so I don’t have to study for it, just make sure I get it done.  I’ve started packing my stuff to take home and I realized erthat I absolutely HATE to pack. It so obnoxious.  Otherwise things are starting to slow down. A few of my friends are leaving pretty soon. Its gonna stink have to saying goodbye to everyone. It still hasn’t completely set in that I wont be back for a whole semester but I think once I’m home for break its going to all hit me at once. Thats about it for now.

A time to reflect…

I just finished my human rights final. I feels great to be done with it although I loved that class. I also just printed out my 15 page research paper for my stats class. I cannot tell you how good it feels to cross that off my list. Its like ten thousand pounds have been lifted off my shoulders. I only have two more finals both of which should be pretty easy.
A now a time to reflect back on the year school. It has flown by. FLOWN BY. I think back to the beginning of the semester…moving into my apartment…getting ready for school to get underway…and now I spun around the room twice and the semester is over. Done. I cannot help but think how weird it is to be done. And I’ll be out of Buffalo for a whole semester, away from my friends. Especially the girls that I work with. I have become very close with my fellow blogger Lynlee and see her almost everyday. It is going to be strange not to have her around. I also have become really close with the graduate assistants in the office- not seeing them everyday is going to be a really hard adjustment to make. I know that this is all part of growing up, learning how to function on your own, but I wish that I could just transplant everyone to D.C. with me.

Well, sorry that blog was really corny. That’ll happen every once and a while.

It’s all happening…very very quickly

So here comes the end of the semester. No one saw it coming. but here it is. Watch out everyone…it is right around the corner. I have been studying for final lately. Today I had one and then I have another one on Thursday. After that I have a paper due Thursday and my big research paper due Friday.  I wish everything was better spaced out.  After this crazy week, I have one final next Friday and then one on Monday, which is the last day that you could have a final. I am going to be bored out of my mind. All of my friends will already be home by that point so I guess there will be nothing else to do but study, study, study. EEEEKKKK!!!!!!!!!

This weekend is pretty exciting because it is our big football game for the MAC Championship. The boys have a game against Ball State. The game is in Detroit and our big cheering section, UB Blue, will be traveling there with them.  It going to be very exciting!!! I am pumped to watch the game on TV.

Thats about it for now. I’ll be busy studying and writing 5 million papers. UGH.
